The September 2026 Update is now live.
This update brings 64-bit binaries for the Windows game client, dedicated servers and most developer tools, such as Hammer, to every version of the game.
This means that there's now less risk of running out of the 32-bit memory address space and subsequently crashing when playing on heavy servers or with a lot of addons installed.
The 64-bit game client can be selected from Steam launch options.
New NPC variation was added to the spawnmenu - Hacked Manhacks. In addition to that, the Dropship NPC can now take damage and is no longer invulnerable when spawned in Sandbox.
Spawnmenu got a few tweaks - content tabs can now have sub categories, which should help find what you are looking for faster. Naturally this system is open for addons to take advantage of.

The player model selector menu has also been overhauled with categories, increased size and improved model rendering that better represents how the player model would actually appear in the game world.

Finally, there's now a new mountable game - standalone Insurgency (2014) game.
As usual this update also brings a huge amount of smaller fixes, optimizations and other improvements as well, to both the game client and the developer tools.
